I gave in and I feel so much happier.This painting started with a limited palette of lamp black and white oils and yes my intention was to stay with shades of greys but I reached the point when I just had to add some colour. I started to introduce mixes of french ultra marine and burnt sienna. Hints of colour just add another dimension to this.
